Many, many years ago we were asked to create live shows and interactive décor for special summertime events in some major Michigan shopping centers.

At the same time, we were directing the entertainment at the Michigan Renaissance Festival; bringing the 16th century village of Hollygrove to life, complete with peasants and puppeteers, lords and ladies, wenches and rogues, jesters and jousters, minstrels and jugglers, and of course, the royal court of King Edward and Queen Kathrynne. We succeeded in creating a fantasy environment which took participants (performers and guests alike) out of their everyday 20th century world, and provided them with, above all, many marvelous and magical memories.

In the midst of that revelry we were asked to assist in making some Christmas magic at the aforementioned malls. We started by introducing the walkaround characters Joyce Noel and Professor O’Tannenbaum; then proceeded to design and construct The Santaland Mechanical Band as part of the Center Court décor; then added the North Polestal Service to ensure that every child’s letter would make it to the Big Guy’s desk; then co-created Santa’s Crystal Forest; and Finally took over the happy duties of renovating and decorating Santa’s castle, and making The Jolly Old Elf Himself comfortable in the throneroom of that castle, training and managing his helpers and photographers, and creating magical and memorable Santa Arrivals and Sendoffs.

Springtime came around again and we escorted Nester Fairweather, then his sister Hester (The First Bunny of Spring) as well as a whole hutch of their Bunnyland friends to meet and greet and have photos taken with a growing number of little friends, as well as presenting sing-along-do-along springtime shows at these same shopping centers.

And now? We’ve been invited to bring our special brand of Holiday Magic to The Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Florida as well!

We’re Proud as Punch that we’ve had the opportunity to celebrate the Holidays with families like yours, and we look forward to many years of Marvelous Memories to come!
